The Golan VIII space defense platform was a mobile space station used by the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. It was a member of the Golan series of heavily-armed platforms.
Description
The Golan VIII was a Golan Arms battle station fitted with a hyperdrive for easier relocation. To operate it, the main power systems had to be re-routed as the class was primarily meant to defend a fixed location.[1]
History
One such station was used to guard the Black Redoubt, a secret Galactic Alliance Remnant logistics facility.[1]
