Behind the scenes

Goghzun first appeared in "The Smuggler", a non-canon short film released as part of the third volume of the Star Wars: Visions series, produced by Studio Trigger and released on Disney+^[1] on October 29, 2025. Before his appearance in the short, Ba'ken was first revealed during day three of Celebration Japan^[3] on April 20 of the same year.^[4] The character was voiced by Nobuaki Kanemitsu in the original Japanese version and by Matt Young King in the English dub.^[1] In concept art, the character's name was spelled as "Ghomes."^[5]
