Gnarltree wattle was a construction material made from the gnarltrees of the planet Dagobah. While in self-imposed exile on Dagobah, Jedi Grand Master Yoda constructed his hut in the planet's swamps out of gnarltree wattle and stones.[1]

Gnarltree wattle first appeared in the 1980 original trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.[2]
