Ghost spiders, also spelled ghost spydrs, were a shelled, clawed spydr species found in the Silver Forest of Dreams on the planet Kubindi. With some growing to the size of houses, the poisonous arachnids spun webs whose strands were stronger than steel.[1]
They were considered a delicacy in many cultures. The Kubaz, who valued the taste of the creatures, ate only the legs. To safely work with the animals, many Kubaz ranchers required regular injections to develop an immunity to the beasts' powerful and fatal poison.
