"The odds of a collision with an unknown object while traveling through realspace are very low given the current level of ships' systems designed to prevent such an occurrence, and the chances of several systems on any given shuttle failing all at once are even lower. I can show you the math if you'd like. How are you at Gherillian theoretical proofs?"
―J-6[1]

Gherillian theoretical proofs were a set of mathematical proofs used to calculate odds. After the destruction of the starship Steady Wing[1] in 232 BBY,[2] the only survivors of the incident discovered that the shuttle they had escaped on had been sabotaged. During an ensuing discussion about whether the incident had been planned, the protocol droid J-6 sarcastically remarked to Jedi Padawan Imri Cantaros about the extremely low odds of both the Steady Wing having collided with an unknown object and the failure of multiple shuttle systems occurring simultaneously and offered to show him the math, asking how he was at Gherillian proofs.[1]
