Gesl was a location on the planet Irmenu protected by the seagoing Imperial Irmenu Navy.[1][2] Walon Vau's father, an admiral in the Imperial Irmenu Navy, was the Count of Gesl.[3]
Behind the scenes
Gesl was first mentioned in the 2007 novel Republic Commando: True Colors, which was written by Karen Traviss.[3] It was later incorrectly described as a planet in the 2008 reference book The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia.[1]
