Gerald W. Abrams (sometimes credited as Gerry Abrams) is an American television producer and the father of J.J. Abrams. He runs his own company, Cypress Point Productions, since 1978.[2] When his son directed Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, Gerald Abrams cameoed in the movie as General Cypress, a Resistance officer.[3]
