Geoscanners[1] or geological scanners[2] were used by miners and prospectors. They were used to detect geological characteristics including minerals and ore deposits. Geoscanners were also capable of analyzing geothermal, seismic, volcanic, and glacial activity. The Fabritech 7000 Geoscanner was a type of geoscanner.[1]
