The General Orders were a set of orders in the Imperial Military that instructed military personnel not to disrespect aliens in the Galactic Empire. However, the Imperial Cadet Eli Vanto explained to the Chiss Thrawn that these orders were often flouted by Imperial personnel due to endemic xenophobia.[1]
