Genera Games was a European game development studio based out of Seville, Seville, Spain that specialized in mobile game development.[1] Partnering with The Walt Disney Company's Disney Interactive gaming branch, Genera Games was responsible for the 2017 Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens tie-in mobile puzzle title, Star Wars: Puzzle Droids.[3] The company was purchased some time prior to October 22, 2020 by American mobile game titan Scopely, and ceased to exist as previously known, though some semblance of the company carries on in the small rebranded mobile developer "Genjoy."[4]
