The fourth moon of the planet Gelemeade was an inhospitable environment. However, during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, a routine scan of the moon detected signs of simple organic life beneath its uninhabitable surface, and further investigation found a variety of exotic life underground.[1]

Behind the scenes

The fourth moon of Gelemeade was first mentioned in BioWare's 2011 massively multiplayer online roleplaying game Star Wars: The Old Republic, in the Bioanalysis crew skill mission "Signs of Life".[1]
