A Gel-form droid was an advanced training droid used during the time of the Second Galactic Civil War to train snipers.[1]
Characteristics
Made of Gel-form, Gel-form droids were featureless, with translucent gel figures that revealed shadowy internal frameworks of artificial bone within. Able to be tailored to the build, motions, and gait of an intended target, a gel-form lacked any true intelligence - to the point it was barely considered a droid - and instead was designed to mimic everyday activity such as sitting and moving about a room. When shot and damaged, the gel-form was capable of repairing itself after a few moments, and was capable of doing so for several hours before its internal power supply needed recharging.[1]
History
Ben Skywalker trained against a gel-form droid while learning to become a sniper for the Mission to Vulpter to assassinate Prime Minister Dur Gejjen. Ben found the training to be disturbing due to the realistic movement and reactions of the droid.[1]
