Author Kenneth C. Flint allowed Joseph Bongiorno to publish the former's unreleased Heart of the Jedi manuscript online with a number of changes made by the latter. According to Bongiorno, the planet Gathol was included in the original manuscript submitted and viewed by Lucasfilm prior to Bongiorno's fanon edits, including changing the planet's name.[1]
