A garrote chrono was a type of specialized melee weapon designed for use by field agents. It was composed of a retractable, spun durasteel garrote concealed within a chronometer. Due to its concealed nature, a garrote chrono gave its user constant access to a weapon, even when being searched or disarmed. They cost 100 credits on the market and were popular among assassins and undercover agents.[1]
Behind the scenes
Garrote chronos were first mentioned in Cyphers and Masks,[1] a 2018 sourcebook for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game published by Fantasy Flight Games.[2]
