A garrison base was a type of base designed to be dropped from a starship for a garrison to occupy. Sentinel Base,[2] a Republic base,[1] was originally a garrison base deployed from a Victory-class Star Destroyer, although it was later expanded with prefabricated modules by the Galactic Empire.[2]
