Gareth Wigan (December 2, 1931 – February 13, 2010) was a 20th Century Fox executive during the production of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In the Empire of Dreams: The Story of the Star Wars Trilogy documentary, he recalls his astonishment after an early screening of the film. Wigan died in 2010 at the age of 78.[3]
