The associate is jettisoned by Ducain from the Nikto's starship.

During the New Republic Era, a male alien was present on the world Oskatoon where they, at some point, partnered with the Nikto smuggler Gannis Ducain.[2] Between 31 ABY and 34 ABY,[1] Ducain, who was working as security for an owner of a warehouse on the planet, encountered a human in the warehouse along with the associate and attempted to scam the individual in believing their purchase would be for the warehouse and all objects inside it. As the human was surprised at the offer, Ducain commented that this was their lucky day, with the associate exclaiming only for purchasing on said day. The human then fell for the ruse and shook hands with Ducain, exclaiming it was a deal before handing over a case full of credits. Ducain then happily declared doing trade with the human before he and the associate departed in his starship.[2]

As Ducain piloted the starship above Oskatoon, the associate greedily remarked at the large amount of profit to be had with the ploy, with Ducain acknowledging their comment. The alien then peered at Ducain and and announced it was time for the two to settle up over the profits. Ducain, glaring aside, then announced how he had changed his mind on the repay, with the associate proclaiming how if Ducain attempted to avoid paying fair, they would contact authorities. The associate furthermore explained how they would rather be imprisoned in a penal colony then have Ducain swindle them. As the Nikto took into account what had been brought forward, they pressed a button upon his console while alerting the associate how their partnership had been terminated. The alien, unaware a hatch above in the starship ceiling had opened from the button press, was jettisoned into space while screaming. Ducain continued to pilot his ship as he vocalized how his partnerships always appeared to fail.[2]

Despite the threats, the Nikto betrayed the associate who screamed as they were killed. They had black eyes and brown skin.[2]
