The Gand floating sanctuary was an astronomical object in the Outer Rim Territories, where Gand could visit to breathe their natural ammonia. Because of this, oxygen-breathing beings needed to wear specialized suits when inside. Zuckuss visited the sanctuary after the departure of his partner 4-LOM, but was soon recruited by T'onga into a crew planning to find and rescue Cadeliah.[1]
