Galactic News Network (GNN) was a large media corporation that reported on the events taking place in the Outer Rim during the New Republic era[1]. GNN's smaller bureaus would take local news stories and transmit them via courier newsdroids to the rest of the galaxy. The company had an office on Indu San that covered the assassination of the Indu Council's chief councilor, Shek Barayel.
