The Galactic Farm Exchange was a program launched by the Galactic Empire on the planet Lothal to buy land from its residents for the Empire. Citizens that participated in the Imperial Registration Program were eligible for the Galactic Farm Exchange. The inauguration of the Galactic Farm Exchange program was covered by the HoloNet News service.[1]
