Galactic Alliance Starfighter Command was a military unit within the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. It was commanded by the Chief of Starfighter Command. After the Second Galactic Civil War, several high-ranking Galactic Alliance officers had to be replaced, allowing General Merratt Jaxton to rise to this rank. He remained in this position in 43.5 ABY.
