A colony was located on the planet Gabredor III. It contained a number of refugees from the planet Tatooine including Kitster Banai and Wald, that had been freed from slavery by the former handmaiden Sabé and former Naboo Royal Guard Tonra. Eventually,[1] Tauntaza,[2] the governor of Gabredor III began to neglect the planet and the colony as she used the Crimson Dawn criminal syndicate to consolidate her power.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[3] Sabé enlisted the help of the Sith Lord Darth Vader to help free the colony from the governor.[1]
