The GX engine was a type of engine.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] one such engine was installed by the Resistance spy Kazuda Xiono into the racing starfighter Fireball, alongside repulsorlifts and injectors. He had acquired the parts from the vendors Flix and Orka, who agreed to let him fulfill the debt by watching their shop, the Office of Acquisitions, for a day.[1]

The GX engine was mentioned in "Dangerous Business,"[1] the thirteenth episode of Star Wars Resistance's first season, which premiered on Disney Channel on January 20, 2019.[3]
