The GR-45 medium transport was a civilian-use model of transport ship manufactured by Gallofree Yards. As a member of the GR-series, it had the same hull shape[2] as the GR-75 medium transport, another Gallofree Yards product.[3] Shortly before the Battle of Yavin, one such ship was parked illegally on the Outer Curved Street in Mos Eisley, Tatooine. On their way to Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker passed by this transport, alongside teams of ASP-7 labor droids loading it.[1]
