The ThrustMaster 9000 aerospike rocket engine was a podracer engine designed and produced by Galactic Power Engineering prior to the Invasion of Naboo.
Characteristics
The ThrustMaster 9000 was a type of rocket engine designed by Galactic Power Engineering for use in their GPE-3130 Podracer. A pair of these engines were bolstered by a pair of smaller ramjets on nacelle-mounted outriggers. Providing the primary thrust for the Podracer, were so power that the Podracer did not handle turns well.[1]
