G-4T was a probe droid of the Sith Empire who lived during the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Deployed at Imperial base camp during the Battle of Ilum G-4T recognized that a Republic camp on Ilum was a potential threat to the Empire's crystal mines and recruited an Imperial ally to poison their climate control with his coolant and destroy their forces.[1]
Behind the scenes
G-4T first appeared in the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic, released by BioWare in 2011. It is only accessible to Imperial players in the game on Ilum.
