"Four-Eighteen and Four-Twenty are down."
―A stormtrooper, reporting to Imperial Intelligence's agent Kirtan Loor[2]

Four-Eighteen was the designation of a stormtrooper who served in the Galactic Empire's Stormtrooper Corps during the Galactic Civil War between the New Republic and the Galactic Empire.[2] In 6 ABY,[1] the individual was killed by a booby-trap left by New Republic forces shortly after a raid intended to eliminate Rogue Squadron, an elite New Republic starfighter squadron, on the planet Talasea. Four-Eighteen's death, along with the death of fellow stormtrooper Four-Twenty, were later reported to Imperial Intelligence's agent Kirtan Loor.[2]

Behind the scenes

The stormtrooper was first mentioned in the 1996 novel X-Wing: Rogue Squadron, the first book in the Star Wars: X-Wing novel series written by Michael A. Stackpole.[2]
