Valorian Jedi Enclave (talk - history - links - logs)

this VFD also includes the articles Valorian and Visionelle.

This seems to come from this page on the official Star Wars Galaxies website, one of many featured Galactic Hot Spots. But unlike most other information on the SWG website, this unfortunately is no official canon stuff. The Galactic Hot Spots are a collection of player-created locations, submitted by the players and then chosen by the community relations people of SWG to be featured on this page. In this game, players are able to build their own houses in most parts of the planets and then decorate the interior. They use all kinds of available items to make the interiors look like Imperial bases, Jedi academies, museums etc. But as all player-created content in Galaxies, these locations are not canon. --Craven 17:51, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

  • OK, I figured as much but I wasnt quite sure before I created the articles. I figured someone more familiar with Galaxies would remove it so here we are. But no I dont see a problem with deleting it. P.L. 18:41, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Keep and slap non-nanon tag onto it. I think Leland Chee mentioned somewhere that while the PCs and he galaxies were not canonical, the NPCs, factions etc. were. KEJ 12:38, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Delete unless they're on all Galaxies servers, per this Leland Chee post. jSarek 12:44, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Delete per jSarek. --Imperialles 21:11, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
  • The exact same issue was raised in Wookieepedia:Votes for deletion/-Jaded-, which led to the creation of Pilot's Showcase. Similarly, maybe we can make a Galactic Hot Spots article? --Azizlight 00:49, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Galactic Hot Spots article would actually be a great idea, and a way to speed up the removal process (by redirecting) if any more of these show up. But the individual ones should simply be deleted or at least simply redirected, but they don't deserve their own articles. Wildyoda 17:44, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
  • I don't think such an article would be useful. At the moment there are over 50 "hot spots" on that page (each with its own fanon backstory and owners), and I think there are even more, older ones somewhere else on the site and on the forums. It's basically just a collection of nice looking fanon that will never have any influence on canon. Even in the SWG community it's not a big thing. --Craven 18:49, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
