Star Wars: Battlefront III (talk - history - links - logs)
Basically, this is nothing but year-old rumors that are completely unsubstantiated and unsourced, and the article itself even says it. If it's announced, fine, but if not - there's not even really anything that will be missed.

- I put up a {{sources}} tag. If this game really exists (or will exist), I'd like to know if it would be available for the PS2 as well. Admiral J. Nebulax 19:30, 17 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- This is completely untrue!!!--81.243.245.3 22:43, 17 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Why do you say that, despite the fact that it seems like a hoax? Admiral J. Nebulax 00:03, 18 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Actually, I read about it on Wikipedia. Maybe that was a hoax...Bly1993 14:50, 18 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- If this game does ever indeed exist (which I find somewhat doubtful given the end of the films and the game's apparent reliance on them), I'd say it'll be for the next-gen systems (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3). --MarcK [talk] 14:54, 18 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Let us take into consideration that the game reliance on the films was when it was being made by pandemic, NOT free radical. Kimu 04:50, 25 July 2007 (UTC) RC-0722 12:50 AM July 25, 2007
- And I doubt that the game (if it ever comes out) will include what it says on the page. Admiral J. Nebulax 15:22, 18 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Have hope guys. So it won't come out for years to come, and maybe only on a next-gen system, but you can't ultimately deny it might be created. It would be the sequel to the two best selling Star Wars games of all time. -- Riffsyphon1024 07:36, 19 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Hey, I'm still hoping for it. Admiral J. Nebulax 20:52, 19 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I can't find any mention of this potential game. I recommend we delete this until there is any mention of it. --SparqMan 18:54, 21 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Or perhaps just lock it until it is confirmed. If it is ever confirmed. Admiral J. Nebulax 20:39, 21 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I read about something like this on Wikipedia, though it may well have been written by the same person. Still, it would be kinda cool to blast Massassi and Vong, right? -- SFH 17:07, 23 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Of course. Admiral J. Nebulax 19:41, 23 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, and maybe this time it wouldn't totally suck. Personal feelings aside, this has just as much credibility as KOTOR III, when Bioware and obsidian are busy, and couldn't possibly work on it.--Xilentshadow900 19:44, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)

- What a shame. All that previous material I wrote on it when it didn't exist too. -- Riffsyphon1024 23:49, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
So, is this game gonna be on other non-nextgen systems like PS2? I really hope so... --Maaul--(Send Message|Hire|Request Reinforcments) 21:15, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- More like PS3 and 360. -- Riffsyphon1024 18:25, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah. The PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii are the next-gen systems (technically, they are now the current-gen systems). BTW, I wouldn't be surprised if this game made it onto the Wii, considering how its currently surpassing the PS3 in sales.--Ranat 23 01:03, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

- I think it would be a little hard to play battlefront on the Wii and also I dont think the Wii would be able to support the graphics.--Darth Vader II 15:08, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Wii graphics are comparable to PS2 graphics, so I think, with some work, it could be a Wii game. And we won't know how playable it will be until it is released on the Wii (assuming it will be released on the Wii). Jorrel

- The wii is more advanced than the ps2, plus their are shooter games already on the Wii, although it may be better to play on the 360 or ps3 as people have said it can be difficult to play shooters on the wii.The Mysterious Droid 23:29, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

- Anybody else notice that the game has not been confirmed, in spite of the name of the article sourced? It even states that LucasArts and Free Radical have neither confirmed nor denied the rumors. Hence this is all, entirely, speculation. Should this article even exist as such? If it had actually been confirmed I'd be all for it. But as of now it is a combination of wishful thinking and speculation. At the very least the article should make that more clear. --Niirfa-sa 02:36, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
GBA and NDS
Does anyone know whether there is any confirmation on these two platforms or has someone just decided to make this up? NighthawkLeader 08:05, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Article Contradiction
"So far it has only been announced for the Xbox 360 and the PC although more platforms are to be announced."
"Please keep in mind that this game has yet to even be officially announced by LucasArts or Free Radical..."
Is it just me, or does that sound a little contradicting. Even if it's not officially announced shouldn't the first one be altered to fit in with that second sentence? ~Trakinor Lipost 17:08, 10 June 2007 (UTC +10)
I agree I will change it. The Mysterious Droid 01:43, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
GREAT IDEA
you should be able to play as a remnant clone army and play a ressurected Commander Gree and choose your own side not depending on your faction like if youre clone remnant army you should choose what you as your own indivisual side is on suck as imperial remnant or New Republic

Can somone please add a link to the battlefront wiki, battlefront.wikia.com/wiki/Central_Base as i am not sure how to add a link to another wiki. Hunterj 20:23, 31 July 2007 (UTC) 31 July 2007

Name
Should we name this Battlefront IV since BF: Renegade Squadron is BF III? [[Corellian Premier] —Unsigned comment by 65.60.228.119 (talk • contribs)

- I think it's a bit obvious that BF3 isn't going to be platform exclusive. A small time PSP game would not have made a very good sequel.—Unsigned comment by Trakinor Lipost (talk • contribs)
