Silk belt (talk - history - links - logs)

While I lol'd pretty hard here at work at "A silk belt was a belt made of silk", there really isn't any reason for this page to exist at all. If it's part of the character's story, put it there if necessary. But this page is about as useful as "Luke wore boots on Hoth to keep his feet warm."

I feel like we're clinging to articles just for the sake of having them. Make an article for belt and say that they could be made from silk and be done with it. Completely agree with Trayus. This is pointless, however adding its information to a section in a larger "Belt" article (Belts could be manufactured using the material silk; one such belt was owned by the professional thief Sienn Sconn, who wore his silk belt while disguised as a servant, and later used it to gag Princess Kalieva K'ntarr.) would be much more logical.   1. I cannot find a suitable reason to delete. We do create other clothing and strange accessory articles. If the sentence structure needs to be fixed, then it can be, but personally I see no reason to delete this based on that. JangFett (Talk) 20:28, February 13, 2012 (UTC)

Move to Belt

  1. We don't have articles on "plastic shirt" or "synthatex flight suit" or "titanium X-wing starfighter"; we have articles on "plastic" and "shirt," on "synthatex" and "flight suit," and on "titanium" and "X-wing starfighter."
