Quote:Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (talk - history - links - logs)
I almost hate to do this due to the hard work Jedimca0 has put into it, but it must be done—unless we're planning to make similar ones for the other five Star Wars films (which, IMHO, is not a good idea).

Weak delete, and only if you think there should not be an out-of-universe parallel. -- Riffsyphon1024 19:00, 14 February 2008 (EST)- No, there really shouldn't, IMHO.--Goodwood

- Kinda odd that Episode V was singled out, but I just take it as encouragement to start five more quote pages Enochf 23:11, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

- Normally I prefer quote pages to be created for each character, situation, etc. However, the six movies are some exceptions to this way of thinking, for me at least. Greyman(Paratus) 20:56, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

- Statement: the films are the core of the world of SW and contain many quotes that have almost become part of the everyday life in mainstream society. Snide comment: Do I sense the spirit of purgism here? KEJ 08:06, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

What does it mean, "unless we're planning to make similar ones for the other five Star Wars films"? Is there a Wookieepedia policy that this refers to? Wikipedia lists "We do not have an article on y, so we should not have an article on this" as an argument to avoid, but I don't know as much about how things are done here. --Andrew Nagy 19:32, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- It means that "unless we're planning to make quote pages that are arbitrary lists of random quotes taken out of context from the other five films", which is essentially what this page is. See this page for further details.--Goodwood
