Gama (talk - history - links - logs)

All references are to the Gama system, not a planet called Gama. ~SavageBOB sig 20:46, August 9, 2011 (UTC)

Move to Unidentified planet (Gama system)

  1. Actually, upon further consideration of the source, Palpatine does say, "Why should I accept your slavish obeisances? I am well aware your planet has withheld allegiance until now, when you have seen the power of my galaxy weapon. I can easily annihilate your world and all its inhabitants— Unh… just… as I obliterated that… Rebel troopship!" This indicates an indirect mention of a planet, but we can't claim it's called Gama. Therefore, I change my vote to move the page to Unidentified Gama system planet. ~SavageBOB sig 22:08, August 9, 2011 (UTC)
  2. Well, I guess this is the proper decision then.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 22:09, August 9, 2011 (UTC)
No planet name mentioned, so unidentified ought to be used, I believe. barren167 21:59, August 9, 2011 (US CT). (Vote struck, reason: Per policy: Not enough mainspace edits. -- CC7567 (talk) 20:27, August 10, 2011 (UTC))
  3. Unidentified planet (Gama system) would be more prudent, but sure. CC7567 (talk) 20:26, August 10, 2011 (UTC)

  4. This probably would be the better option. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 22:01, August 10, 2011 (UTC)

  6. Oh, alright, fine. Here's hoping something canon lets us move this back soon. jSarek 09:32, August 11, 2011 (UTC)
  7. I'm hoping for an official name though. :) -- Riffsyphon1024 09:52, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

Discussion

  • Given the system name, the species name, and the existence of the planet, is there any reason not to just slap a Conjecture template on this, write a note in the Bts, and call it a day? jSarek 00:19, August 10, 2011 (UTC)
    • I'd prefer the "Unidentified" designator, simply because that seems to be how we do most unidentified stuff these days. If it doesn't break protocol too much, I can just move the dang page, but since I'd started the TC, I didn't know if it was cool to just do that and, well, call it a day, or if it was necessary to let the TC run its course. ~SavageBOB sig 00:31, August 10, 2011 (UTC)
