Force Rage (talk - history - links - logs)

This is not an actual ability. It's a game component. Like a life meter. We're not going to have a page on life meters saying "All Beings and robots in the star wars universe have life meters. A life meter shows how much health something has. It dies when the meter reaches zero" so why have this? {{subst:User:DeFender1031/sig}} 21:03, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Arguments for deletion

  • I'm actually taking the Nebulax approach here. :P While Force Rage does appear in a canonical source, I do think it's more of a game mechanic than an actual power. But, I'm not sure what the Dark Empire sourcebook says about it, so maybe it is defintely canon. In any case, the thing about this article that annoys me the most is that most of the appearances and examples on this page look to be rediculous and unfounded speculative bullshit. It seems that it is assumed that when a Force-user has any sort of violent emotional outburst, they are using a Force power, which is completely idiotic. The quotes also do not directly relate to Force rage.--Darth Oblivion 21:12, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
  • Annoying and stupid though this power is, it's listed in the Dark Side Sourcebook as an RPG ability, which I'm told makes it canon. Keep, but remove all bullshit, and only list appearance info where the words "Force Rage" appear. -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 23:18, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
    • I removed nearly all of the bullshit, anyway. -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 23:22, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
      • Keep Force Rage does seem to be canon with up to five sources. . And I've heard arguments for this used to explain Palpatine's quick attacks and such in Ep. III- can't confirm whether that's canon, but I believe the novel mentions it. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 04:38, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
  • Keep now that it's bullshit-free... oh, and it's canon. KEJ 20:07, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
