Dragon trooper (Wookiee) (talk - history - links - logs)
The article says it all: "Wookiees who rode Katarns while wielding a short range flamethrower" - extremely informative and encyclopedic. If Chewbacca is seen riding a reek, does he get an article as a Reek trooper? A single comic panel by itself would not result in a new article, the only reason this one was created is because of the Galactic Battlegrounds. Well, let's see, it also features following game units:
- Wookiee Trooper Recruit
- Bowcaster Trooper
- Heavy Bowcaster Trooper
- Repeating Bowcaster Trooper
- Heavy Dragon Trooper
- Advanced Dragon Trooper
- Thermal Detonator Trooper
- Missile Launcher Trooper
- Armored Missile Trooper
Seeing as none of those Troopers has its own article, I say that this one should be gone too. Simple. MauserComlink 22:31, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Merge and redirect into Wookiee
- MauserComlink 22:31, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Although there is no reason to keep it as a redirect. --Imperialles 23:47, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Per Mauser. Plus, those clones who rode Blurrgs during the Battle of Ryloth didn't automatically become a new class of trooper. They were just members of lightning squadron who got to ride a blurrg. Darth Trayus

Keep
- It's a valid unit, Wookiee-specific cavalry. I added blurrg trooper a while back, and what d'you know, they showed up on TCW a few years later. Enochf 23:07, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I was planning on going after blurrg trooper as well in the future. If a clone trooper of the Ghost Company (for example) was riding a blurrg at some point in his life, does that automatically make him a blurrg trooper? If so, we might also create Skalder trooper, Kaadu trooper, Cu-Pa trooper and many-many others. Han Solo and Luke Skywalker in ESB? They must be Tauntaun troopers! Chewbacca riding a reek? Wookiee reek trooper, no doubt! Come on, this is just silly. MauserComlink 23:25, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, regardless of how the vote goes, we should TOTALLY have an article on Cu-Pa troopas. jSarek 01:52, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

- The heavy/medium classes should be merged into each other, but the specialization is valid. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 23:39, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- There's a difference between "a soldier who happens to be on a mount" and "a mounted unit." This is the latter, and as such, it's a perfectly legitimate article. You might as well say cavalry are "just soldiers on horses." Havac 04:30, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- Per Havac. And you know they're not just any old soldier riding on a creature, they're actually specialized units used as cavalry as well as for burning down walls and fortifications. Cyfiero 06:07, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- Absolutely not, but per Culator. Atarumaster88

Fraajic 16:32, 2 June 2009 (UTC) - Keep per Havac, merge other articles per Culator. jSarek 21:25, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
