Dan Biesel (talk - history - links - logs)
We have articles on other notable fans. I don't know whether Dan Biesel is notable enough or not, but it looks arguable to me, so...discuss. Gonk (Gonk!) 02:18, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- I imagine that it might be a vanity page. The creator goes by the username Dannydanger. I would have either have CSDed it or asked the user if it was autobiographical. I'll just go ahead and say delete for now. I tagged it, too. Love that vanity template. Graestan(Talk) 05:58, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm with Graestan. Delete. Stake black msg 13:25, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- The article's creator probably is its subject, yes, but that doesn't necessarily make it nonnotable. He did have work commissioned by Conan, and a quick Google search suggests he's pretty active in the fan community. I'm just unsure where we generally draw the line. - Biesel is not notable in the Star Wars community. He may be a big fish in the Conan fandom, but not here. Delete. --Imperialles 15:42, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed. We've removed pages of fans who have made a lot larger contributions to the community than three images. If he ever does the cover of a licensed book, then he can have an article, but it definitely reads like a non-notable person and a vanity page to me. Delete. Wildyoda 18:13, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete, Per Imperialles. --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 18:37, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, delete. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 18:43, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
