I recently created a number of articles for items of armour in TOR but each has been marked for deletion with the reason being that there are to many pieces of armour and so there's no point in creating them. I personally believe that each should have its own article as every piece of armour in KOTOR does however I'm not one hundred percent sure what Wookieepedia's policy is on this as I can't find the part of the guidelines about what deserves and article and what doesn't. I seem to remember it being along the lines of everything in canon should have one no matter how unimportant though. I'm not asking anyone else to start writing them just trying to find out if the ones I've written so far should be deleted and if I should keep writing them as I have many more screen shots too use for them. - If its a unique type or brand of armor, it should be kept, I think. Have you tried contacting/asking the administrator who did the deleting? Also, are you certain that you formatted the article correctly and provided accurate sourcing? Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:20, March 4, 2012 (UTC)
- They are named equipment from TOR such as Ithorian mariner's loose wraps as well as several unique items belonging to Vette. They have not yet been deleted but are marked to be, although not by an Administrator. I have contacted the user but we cannot come to an agreement on if they should be deleted or not. The article is correctly formatted and sourced at least to the extent that won't result in deletion so that is not the issue. Ayrehead02 22:42, March 4, 2012 (UTC)
- The proper course of action here would have been to make a single Trash Compactor thread and linked it to each of the articles in question and let the community decide. Marking articles that are not a violation of policy (such as fanon or copyright violation) for speedy deletion was inappropriate, IMO. - JMAS
