Bioware is apparently retconning Revan and Malak to have been the servants of the Sith Emperor during the Jedi Civil War in their upcoming "The Old Republic" MMORPG. I've made a note of this in the discussion for Revan's page, since it retcons his fall to the dark side. Bascially, in an interview, Daniel Erickson, Lead Writer at BioWare, among other things said of Revan and Malak, "what it turns out is, what they found in deep space that changed them and sent them back was the emperor. And... the emperor of the old Sith from the Hyperspace War that the jedi thought they had killed off. They were turned and they were sent back to supposedly be the vanguard for a Sith invasion." The video interview can be seen here: http://gameinformer.com/games/star_wars_the_old_republic/m/star_wars_the_old_republic_media/108340.aspx Jediphile 21:44, December 9, 2009 (UTC)
- That's interesting, Jediphile. Feel free to add this info to the respective articles.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 22:50, December 9, 2009 (UTC)
- Wow. Really? Revan and Malak weren't the top Sith Lords? That's a major retcon for the KOTOR WookieeProject. Nice find. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is the truth) 03:21, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Of course we have to add this ionformation, but it's just not enough information. We have the information from the second game that contradicts this. Of course I have my theory on this, but it's just a theory and is ultimately OR and speculation. All we can report is that they met the Emperor and were sent back by him.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 22:11, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
- I have revised Revan's page to contain this information. I've checked, and someone has also added it to Malak's page. Whether the Sith Emperor's page needs to be updated with it as well, I don't know. As for the content of this information, I completely hate it. I think it conflicts completely with Revan's character to have him be a henchmen to another. But it's canon now, so I'll I can do is hate Bioware and Lucasarts for it. I'll flame them for it elsewhere... Jediphile 23:16, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
- I think, more important than the Revan information is the revelation of Sith Peanut Butter. We should write and GA the article immediately.SinisterSamurai 18:02, December 11, 2009 (UTC)
