I haven't been able to find anything on policies for links to galleries from Main articles, and I was wondering if anything had been established.
A couple of specific questions I had:
Where is the gallery link supposed to go? I've seen it in the Appearances section, I've seen it in the Sources section, and it seems like I even saw it once in the Notes and references section.
Also, it seems quite haphazard whether articles are linked to their related gallery or not. When should or shouldn't an article have a link to its gallery?

- I'd need to hunt down the CT for this, but from what I remember, galleries aren't allowed in articles. It's fine to link to the image category, should the subject have a number of images, but we don't actually have galleries in articles. As for where the {{Imagecat}} link would go, we usually stick it in the "Appearances" or "Sources" section. I've seen it in either one. Hope that clears up some confusion. :) Trak Nar Ramble on 08:47, May 24, 2013 (UTC)
- It has been a while since I've read the rules, but IIRC, image galleries are allowed only in OOU book/comic/game articles, and even then they are only used for displaying variations of the subject's cover to show regional differences, re-releases, or special editions.
