While reading our proposed new canon policy, I realized our {{Policy}} template is horribly outdated. We no longer use the talk page of policies to discuss changes to them; rather, the SH and the CT are the de facto venues for proposing changes to official policy. As such, I've adjusted the text to say "It has wide acceptance among editors and is considered a standard that everyone must follow. Please use the Consensus track to propose changes to this policy." to reflect the current procedure. See my test page for the updated template.

If anyone has concerns/questions/comments, please leave them below. I'll go ahead and implement the new template within a few days if there are no major objections. Cheers, 1358 ^(Talk) 14:37, April 28, 2014 (UTC)
