Pablo Hidalgo has comented on the canonicity of the StarWars.com episode guides; https://mobile.twitter.com/pablohidalgo/status/712051500684410880
How should we interpret this? - AV-6R7Crew Pit 19:04, August 8, 2016 (UTC)
- That the episode guides themselves are not "canon." Only stories are "canon," in strict Lucasfilm definitions of the word. Everything else is a summary of canon information or a place to talk about canon information. But "canon" itself refers to story content. So the episode guides, as Pablo said, are talking about existing canon info, even if that info hasn't been revealed yet. Which means we don't change our approach at all. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 19:10, August 8, 2016 (UTC)
