I've noticed that Adam Bray has released two articles dealing with Star Wars subjects on the blog, with the first being Imagining a Day of Holiday Shopping on Cloud City and the second being Imagining Empire Day on Coruscant. Knowing that the story group has no creative control over the blog, I was wondering whether these articles make an exception like the article:
Where in the Galaxy Are the Worlds of Star Wars: The Force Awakens? on StarWars.com (article) (backup link)
I remember a Senate Hall discussion regarding the canonical status of this article, (Although it has been archived and I'm too lazy to dig it out) and it was decided that it was indeed canonical because the author provided details 'too specific' to be made without involvement from the Story Group. Therefore, articles such as the Great Gran Run were created based on the article.
If this blog post can be considered canon, then can the Imagining Empire Day and Cloud City articles be considered canon as well? Or should the TFA Galaxy Map article never have been considered canon in the first place?

- Actually, I created those articles a bit too quickly. The tone of those articles is quite jokey, and Bray confirmed to me on Twitter that their content isn't canon. I guess those articles I made should be deleted. --LelalMekha (talk) 23:30, February 26, 2016 (UTC)
- Alright then, that makes sense. But what about the galaxy map? I'm hesitant to start adding it to other articles, as it basically adds tons of planets from an edited version of the Essential Atlas, while the new planets could have just been edited into the Essential Atlas map using the placements from the Visual Dictionary one to make it 'look cool.' As Pablo's map isn't much on the side of detailed or eye-catching. -

"story group has no involvement in blog editorial content" - this isn't a conversation we need to keep having. These blogs are not canonical sources. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 01:21, February 28, 2016 (UTC)
- Should we delete the Great Gran Run page and others based off of the Force Awakens Blog map then? -

- I would say so, yeah. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 01:51, February 28, 2016 (UTC)
