For Unidentified Species that pass the criteria for notability, how are we to name them or refer to them? For example, is it Fud Sang's species or Unidentified short pudgy species? I believe for non-sentients the latter is used, yes? So I've been assuming it'd be the same for sentient species, but I was looking for confirmation. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 19:44, February 11, 2014 (UTC)
- I don't know if I can actually bump, whether it works or allowed, but, bump. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 19:15, February 20, 2014 (UTC)
- There's nothing specific in Wookieepedia:Naming conventions, though it could be interpreted as encouraging the title to start with "unidentified". Of course, for unidentified species exemplified by named or nicknamed characters, something like Aurra Sing's father's species is a much more likely search term for readers to enter, as well as a more likely nickname to appear in canon (as happened with Yoda's species). —Silly Dan (talk) 01:31, February 21, 2014 (UTC)
- Hm, the latter does make sense, about keywords and what people will generally search for... Perhaps I'll revert back to, such as the example, Fud Sang's species, as from a search angle it does make sense that way. Thanks. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 17:13, February 27, 2014 (UTC)
