Administrators work hard. They and they alone have the power to block, delete, and protect. They must work hard. Some admins join regular users as Inquisitors. If you want to be an Inq., you need to be hard-working, and have at least one pretty good FA under your belt. That's what I'm here to talk to you about.
In case you were wondering, Culator is awesome. Only a few admins are also Inqs, and he is a great user. His job as an Inq., however, is interesting. His only FA is the Imperial warlord guy who's fat and whos name starts with a Z. I forget his name. It's not that impessive, Solus isn't an Inq. He's hardly ever on the FA or GA nom pages, which sometimes helps you win the job. I don't think he's doing well enough, so I ask him if he would please step down as an Inquisitor until he starts to show up on the FAN and GAN pages more, nominates, writes, and meanly edits FAs, etc. The Inquisitorius has plenty members; in fact, Ataru and Greyman would be enough. I'm not forcing, just asking you to please do your stinking job or step down and let the real Inqs do their job. Thanks, Jediknight19bby (Jedi High Council Chambers!) 18:16, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- JK19BBY, first off, you probably should address this to Wookieepedia:Inq/Complaints Department if you have a specific issue with the Inquisitorius. I also would like to point out that Darth Culator does far from nothing in the Inquisitorius. Go pull up the meeting logs. Guess who is at the vast majority of them, providing one of the crucial 7 member opinions we need to have a meeting? Darth Culator. Guess who runs the Inquisitorius IRC channel? Darth Culator. Moreover, the Inquisitorius does not require members to produce large numbers of FAs or GAs. Culator was chosen to be part of the Inq because he does have experience in the process, is reliable, and has good judgment in that area. Also, were there only 3 or 4 Inqs like you seem to desire, we'd be unable to do anything, as the minimal numbers of Inqs to approve a nom is 5 and the minimal number needed for most meeting decisions is 7. Finally, the Inquisitorius does not answer to and is not ultimately controllable by a single user, so the question of a user forcing someone else out or asking for a member's resignation is, to be frank, absurd. If there was community sentiment behind it, that would be a different matter. The article you are referring to is Zsinj and I am unsure of what Solus has to do with Darth Culator or the Inquisitorius. Cheers. Atarumaster88

- I'm an Inq...? O.o Somehow I doubt this. -Solus (Bird of Prey) 20:16, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- JK, you're also arguing from a false premise in that you assume a user has to have gotten at least one article featured to become an Inquisitor; I've been an Inq for months and have only recently submitted an article for FAing. Maybe you need to spend a few months understanding how things work on Wookieepedia before you start proposing change after change. Gonk (Gonk!) 21:40, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- This is off topic and so feel free to yell at me, but does anyone know where Fourdot is, speaking of inactive Inqs? Chack Jadson Talk 21:54, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm. I was going to offer JK19BBY a nice tall glass of shut-the-hell-up, but Ataru and Gonk have done so far more diplomatically than I would have. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 00:49, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
