Hi, my user name is *Xerxes*, I greatly respect Wookiepedia, and of course Wookiecast....ETC. I was recently accused of too much article editing on my homepage and was threaened for my home page to be blocked from my usage(not taken by offence). I know that i have been editing my home page way too much and it still sucks b/c im new. I am creating this article to tell everyone at Wookiepedia that i have been editing my homepage too much because if i try to edit a real page im afraid im going too mess it up and get banned (one of the last things i want). I dont want to mess one of Wookiepedia's articles up because of Wookiepedias great reputation. An answer to this article would be greatly apprieciated as well as any advice anyone has to offer.
P.S.-Article written to me about my homepage below.--Xerxes 16:40, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
Hello, Xerxes. You may not have been aware of this, but the primary purpose of creating a Wookieepedia account is contribute to the articles on the site, not ask general Star Wars questions or work on your userpage, as you have been doing in the past. Please see WP:NOT for information. Note that continued focus on non-article related improvements may result in your userpage being locked and the possibility of a short block. I apologize if this seems harsh, but the administrators do not want this to become a social site. Perhaps if your primary interest is only in asking questions, you might try TheForce.Net or the Jedi Council forums, part of whose purpose is to answer and discuss hypotheticals about Star Wars. - There's nothing wrong with being new or working on your userpage at all. I can safely say that you won't be banned for contributing in good faith to Wookieepedia- see Wookieepedia: Be bold in updating pages. (though spell check, etc. is probably a good idea) I wasn't threatening you, just informing you of the pertinent rules. Cheers. Atarumaster88 17:35, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
