How did Krayt become so old? i mean the force can influence the amount of years you live right. and the dark side can corrupt you like that. But he's like 180-something. (and he was a human) can you really live that long, even if your a sith? thanks JediNTT307 22:18, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- Krayt learned Sith techniques and used force statis to help him prolong his life. I think the YV armor helped too.JediBob 22:45, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

I think the idea that Sidious was 2000 years old might have arisen from the fact that he's the first Sith the Jedi know exists since the New Sith Wars against Kaan's Brotherhood. Of course, for this to be true would now be non-canon, and most would accept Sidious as being born in 82 BBY as stated by Jedi Kasra from the Sidious arctical. A better example for using the Force to prolong livelihood might be Naga Sadow, who actually lived for over 600 years, albeit for most of it in a suspended state using the Dark Side. Since he was Half-Sith, not pure Human, this undoubtably affected his lifespan, so it's hard to tell how much of this was natural and survival using the Force, but it's the best example I can think of.
