Dear administrative staff, I'm an admin of the Jedipedia, the German Star Wars wiki and serving as the German language contact for Jedipedia-Wookieepedia partnership. I just want to inform you that the Jedipedia moved to a new server - due to exploding traffic (which is great because this proves the increasing popularity of the Jedipedia). The German interwiki links (German language boxes in the navigation bar) still direct to the old server (www.starwars-chroniken.de/wiki) and should be changed to the new domain: http://www.jedipedia.de/wiki/, so that the German versions of the articles can be reached again. - Unfortunately, this doesn't appear to be something the admins here (or on the other Star Wars wikia wikis) can fix directly. I was told on #wikia to report the problem to bugs.wikia.com: hopefully, their coders will fix it soon. —Silly Dan (talk) 20:05, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, I thought the interwiki addresses were simply deposited somewhere "behind the scenes" and could be changed at any time to a new URL. Is it possible to delete the German interwiki box altogether and create an entirely new language box with the new address? RC-9393 20:10, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- As I understand it, that would be more difficult than getting the guy at Wikia to go into the code and replace "starwars-chroniken" with "jedipedia". I'm guessing we may have to wait a few days for this to work, though. —Silly Dan (talk) 20:20, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

- I contacted the Wikia technical support in order to solve this problem. They told me that they are able to fix this problem and to change the interlanguage links to the new server. Currently they are working on some urgent technical issues, but they put our request high on the technical To-Do list and will deal with it as soon as possible. RC-9393 11:49, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
