This has always been nagging at me ever since I saw A New Hope. If the turrets on the falcon are on top and on bottom, ten why are Luke and Han like across from each other rightside-up?
Here is a diagram: this is what it looks like:
turret 1---------turret 2
but this is top/bottom:
turret 1

turret 2
which is correct? Anzati02 20:25, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- Luke and Han are each sitting with their backs to the "floor" of the ship. There's a weird artificial gravity thing that flips 90 degrees when they reach the end of that ladder. Sorry if I didn't explain that well; perhaps someone else can clarify. :-) -- Ozzel 20:27, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- See the official response. Adamwankenobi 20:29, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- Exactly. There's a gravity shift in the turrets, so gunners are facing out when firing. Watch when Luke first get into the turret (this YouTube vid has the image) - he climbs down a ladder, and then sits in a position with the ladder *behind* him, pointing at his back. jSarek 20:31, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
