Previously, the community voted to raise the limit of active CANs that one person may have from four to five, with the possibility of raising the limit further to 6 in the future. I believe the time has come for that increase. There were concerns that raising the limits would make managing the CAN page more difficult. However, after raising the limit from 4 to 5 there have not been major difficulties of the CAN—there was even a recent day on which 18 CAs passed. Therefore,

Rule 9 of the CAN currently reads:
Each user shall be limited to five active Comprehensive article nominations at any given time. Any additional nominations will be subject to immediate removal.

I propose that it be amended to read:
Each user shall be limited to six active Comprehensive article nominations at any given time. Any additional nominations will be subject to immediate removal.
