After discussing about this in the Senate Hall, it's about time I send this to the CT. I would like you to read what I've said in the SH forum:

"Recently, a user started a SH forum discussion about our Twitter page. Our twitter page? Wookieepedia has a Twitter page? Since when? Well, to sum it up, we don't have one. That Twitter page, linked in this forum, is fake and not us. Also, the same user linked some Wookieepedia Facebook, which is clearly not us, because we have an official Wookieepedia Facebook page. My suggestion is that we could perhaps link our official Facebook page in the main page to avoid confusion, as well as show people those Twitter and Facebook pages (the ones that are linked in that Twitter forum) are fraud.'"

Thanks to Riffs and Xwing, that "fraud" (as mentioned above) Facebook page is actually an official one for Wookieepedia. I myself, and probably others, did not know. I was aware of this Facebook page, but it appears to be dead.

So what I am asking is that we should link our official Facebook page to the main page. This is to avoid any confusion, and show people what's official. That Twitter page has long been deleted by Twitter, so no need to worry about that. JangFett (Talk) 04:20, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

  1. A significant number of admins didn't know that Facebook page was "official." (Please note the bolding of quotes to clearly denote sarcasm.) Discussion

I'd be in favour of making a "Wookieepedia on (the rest of) the web" section with links to the Facebook group(s), the SW.com and Wordpress blogs and any other websites where we have an online presence. BTW, does anyone know who registered this YouTube account? -- I need a name (Complain here) 11:22, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
