With the ICP in full swing, I think we need to decide when dealing with Comic scans, for the Licensee category, if they should be categorized by individual issue, or by story arc.
Categorize by story arc

- Personally, I'd go for categorizing things like this, with issues implemented as well. For example, you could put [[Category:Images from Star Wars Legacy: Claws of the Dragon|4]] for things from issue 4, and it would make the lovely headers inside the category so you'd know which issue each image is from. This would also allow people with the TPB's to upload the image, as they'd just categorize it as [[Category:Images from Star Wars Legacy: Claws of the Dragon]] and someone with the individual issues could come along at a later date and add the |1, |2, |3, |4, or |5. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 20:24, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- I like Jaymach's idea if that works. —Xwing328(Talk) 17:47, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

- Jaymach's plan didn't work. Graestan(Talk) 23:14, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- This is the only logical way to do it. And given that Jaymach's suggestion doesn't actually work, anyone voting "per Jaymach" is effectively nullified. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 23:16, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- If it doesn't work, then the next best option. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:39, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

- Before I support, because that's how I'm leaning, are there any reasons besides simplification? Graestan(Talk) 05:20, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- To my thinking, it seems a bit ridiculous to have a category for a single issue of a comic that might only have 1 or 2 images in it, when you can instead organize them into story arc with a more filled out "gallery". And as part of the reason for the entire ICP is to replace pages created as galleries, it makes sense to have a more filled out category gallery. - JMAS 05:27, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- You of all people should know that argument doesn't work since almost every single comic has at least two images already, the full art and the text one. Sometimes more then one if the covers aren't final. Current motto for the categorization is if the character has two or more, it gets it's own category. If there is only one image from said issue, then put the one image from story arc category with that same page branching off into the issues which do have more then one image from the issue. Lets face it. The only reason this would help is due to the TPBs. --Redemption

I didn't realize you could put sub-headings within categories. I'm in favor of Jaymach's suggestion above. - JMAS 20:47, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Unless someone gets Wikia to fix the problem where headers do not appear (several images are already using this sub-heading format) then I still stand against putting them into one big story arc. --Redemption

- Just an update. After discussing this (last week...) it has been determined that Jaymach's method only works with articles and not with images. --Redemption
